2. Application of Zr702 Zirconium Foil:
- Zirconium foil is widely used in the nuclear industry and aerospace as it has a low neutron cross-section and can be used as a structural material in nuclear reactors.
- Zirconium alloys are also important materials for manufacturing nuclear fuel rods because they provide good stability in high-temperature and high-pressure environments.
- Zirconium alloy is also used to manufacture corrosion-resistant equipment, such as chemical containers, petrochemical equipment, etc.
- Zirconium foil also has applications in manufacturing aerospace components, automotive parts and other high-strength structural materials.
3. Nature of Zirconium Foil:
- Zirconium is a metallic element with a silver-grey appearance.
- It has good corrosion resistance and can resist attack by acids, alkalis and most organic substances.
- Zirconium has a high melting point, about 1852℃, and has good high temperature resistance.
- It has a relatively high density of 6.51 g/cm3.
